The National Student Contest of CAD Design, using CATIA Software Solutions
developed by Dassault Systemes

CAR 2017 – The International Congress of Automotive and Transport Engineering – will host the 1st edition of the National Student Contest of CAD Design, using Catia Software Solutions developed by Dassault Systemes.
Magic Engineering’s initiative and efforts, along with the support of RTR (Renault Technologie Roumanie), SIAR (Society of Automotive Engineers of Romania) and the University of Pitesti led to the creation of this exceptional contest.
The event will take place at the University of Pitesti, Automotive and Transport Department (No.1, Targu din Vale Street, Pitesti), in between 8th-10th of November 2017.

In between 16th – 20th October 2017, Romanian Palace of Parliament hosted The Aerospace Europe CEAS 2017 Conference, organized by the Romanian National Research and Development Institute for Gas Turbines COMOTI Bucharest, Romania and held under the aegis of Ministry of Research and Innovation.
The main objective of the 6th CEAS Air & Space Conference was to promote new trends and visions in Aeronautics and Space Technology.
The Conference brought together academia, research, industry, policy maker and maintenance specialists and operators for a fruitful exchange of the latest ideas and developments in European Aeronautics and Aerospace Industry.
Magic Engineering, together with Dassault Systemes, as sponsors and exhibitors, presented state of the art industrial Software Products tightly connected to the European Aerospace Industry.
Our company as the traditional partner of the Romanian aviation companies, including Academic, Research & Development and Industrial Manufacturing in civil and military field, presented software products developed by Dassault Systemes, MSC Software Corporation and ESI Group.
How would it be that the designer to be able to create from the beginning the lighter possible part, for specific material and certain manufacturing process, to meet a certain role into an assembly and to resist under the applied loads?
The answer to this question is already on the 3DExperience platform from Dassault Systemes. Here, the designer, with the 3D Compass in his hand, can share his idea with other people which can work together to create the correct solution, using specific data with the right application.
The applications described on this video are addressed to the designer, to create from start the optimum part, in this case for Additive Manufacturing.
The whole optimization process is done into a single application running within the 3Dexperince platform, which in this case is on the cloud. The process is done without any file conversion and so without information lose. (more…)

This innovative program was created to be easy-to-learn and easy-to-use by engineers in finite element analysis applications. The program, based on MSC Software Corporation’s years of experience, allows the user to dramatically reduce the modelling time from day to hours of work. Also, by using the very efficient FEA solver associated to the program, it is possible to optimize the computer resources, by automatically dividing the model in superelements. Paris, France – May 2, 2017 – ESI Group, leading innovator in Virtual Prototyping software and services for manufacturing industries, will present its latest Virtual Reality (VR) developments at the upcoming GPU Technology Conference (GTC) (booth 708), scheduled May 8-11 in the Silicon Valley, California. Working with NVIDIA, ESI has greatly improved its VR solution tailored for industrial use. The latest release, ESI IC.IDO 11.1, benefits from this action and will be unveiled at GTC 2017; providing visitors with opportunity to experience the new release and learn about proposed future innovations.
In February, ESI announced ESI IC.IDO 11, developed using aspects of the NVIDIA VRWorks SDK. This past release featured an NVIDIA Quadro-enabled rendering framework, making it compatible with consumer and enterprise Head-Mounted Displays (HMDs).
